Discover the timeless beauty of this Hand Carved Pounamu Hei Tiki, a stunning piece of Nelson, New Zealand Pounamu
Known for its deep spiritual significance, the Hei Tiki is a traditional Maori symbol representing ancestry, fertility, and protection.

I loved carving this Hei Tiki and I don’t use any stencils so this was done completely freehand.

-(I can add an extra hole on the head if you’re interested)-

Key Features:

Material: Made from high-quality Nelson (Te Tau Ihu) Pounamu, renowned for its rich multi coloured hues and uniqueness.

Stunning Inanga ahua rereke semi translucent chatoyant banding in the hands that glow in the sun, this is a very cool stone.

Size: ( 111mm x 62mm ) – perfect for wearing as a pendant or displaying as a collector's item.

*Connection to heritage*: For Maori people, pounamu is a tangible link to their ancestors and cultural identity.

*Symbolism*: Pounamu represents strength, courage, and resilience.

*Protection*: Pounamu is believed to offer protection and guidance to the wearer.

*Spiritual growth*: It's thought to promote spiritual growth, well-being, and balance.
